The picture which is used here is the home of my Siberian chipmunks who are revelling in this weather having dug their way down into the ground and built a nice warm nest to sleep in.They will be quite happy and content until the spring thaw when they will come up and do what chipmunks do which for those who don't know is "chip" rather loudly and incessantly until they get the desired reaction from the males and become pregnant.



Contrast them with the familiar sight of a Christmas period decorated with females in short short skirts and little else wandering round the pubs and clubs of the inner cities casting their own version of a "chip" in the hope of securing a council house by September next year. The chipmunks I keep regulate the number of babies they have based on availability of space and food, should I wish to curtail the numbers it is easy for me cut down on the feed or raise a partition within the cage to slow them down.



As an owner/keeper you could say that I am the government they have to adhere to having all their needs and wants catered to. So too the young ladies on the pull are aware that whatever the government "allow" them they will have to make do to secure the survival of their species; Is that a simplistic view?



I guess what I am trying to say is that this government is intent on social control of the indigenous population in the hope that they can control the unrest which is due to come after the severe (unwarranted) cuts begin to bite. they are seeking to weaken the resolve of the lower classes by giving them no hope whatsoever. Already the streets of London have been tainted by horrid Students complaining about the lying bastards who promised the world to gain power and now they use that power to shit on their heads and piss in their faces while glowing in the warmth of their holy grail of a referendum to change the way we vote for these pathetic failures of human beings.



What of others though over the festive period, those whose ranks may very well be much bigger in the coming years? I am referring to the homeless and destitute those who doss down in the doorways of banks which for the most part are responsible for their plight, those thrown out of the house because of family rifts brought on sometimes by themselves and at times by others although generally the crux of the matter is bathed in monetary equations, some have and will not share whatever the relationship whilst others squander what they have with total disregard to family. However they get to this point in their lives however the festive period is one of even greater discomfort and depression. Many are trapped in what is known as the catch 22 which is they cannot afford housing due to having no job while getting a job is dependant on most having somewhere to call home.



Those just above the line in social housing for whatever reason may very well be looking downwards towards these people in the gutter and wondering how they manage to cope with the cold and frustration of seeing so many out and about enjoying themselves. I say they look downwards but it is not with a sense of pity for them it is with a sense of will I be able to do what they are doing; many in lower income groups have a fear of what this condemnations ideological policies will do to them. capping housing benefit in the hope of driving down rental prices is never going to work while there are those within the cities willing to pay a little bit extra to live in an area without "scum" floating around reducing benefit after a 12 month period for those unable to find work having been made redundant is a design in which these lying bastards have faith that they (the unemployed) will have to move to a cheaper area or take a well below standard job on minimum wages so as to keep them exactly where the government wants them(at the bottom of the pile unable to do anything against the system).



Education cuts are of no interest to the homeless neither are plans to cap or not cap Bankers bonus all they wish for is what this condemnation keep harping on about "FAIRNESS". A fair chance at getting back into a house which is nearly impossible if you are homeless it is not an easy thing even if you have a job. Many authorities request, no indeed, demand to know the ins and outs of your last fart before they will even consider you to go on their extensive totally unfair lists. The requirements for most insist on you providing a birth death marriage certificate along with other forms of identity like driving license and or passport, they also require Bank account details so they can do a reference check both financial and personal so you need at least two people who have known you continuously for 6 years minimum.How many homeless people do you think have that kind of paperwork? the only paper they tend to have is that which is stuffed inside their clothes to keep warm(un-frozen).



One thing they(the homeless) may be interested in is the dismantling of the NHS and the changes due to come in as the conservatives against all their promises of it(the NHS) being safe in their hands. Giving massive amounts of millions of pounds to doctors to control is not only a waste of funds(£300million to change the system alone)but a waste of resources as the doctors themselves have neither the time nor inclination to run things the way this condemnation insists is the best.Indeed many doctors openly admit that if they are forced to implement these changes it will mean the end to the NHS as a public service as they will have to hand over control of the finance to private firms. Private firms who in the normal course of events will be looking to a minimum 5% return on their investment;;;;;;;;; wait a minute though if the doctors invite them in to run things for them then are they not just being "given" the money to do with as they wish? bargaining with different hospitals to ensure "their clients" get the best service at the cheapest(to the company) price. Oh yes that is the market forces approach fuck all you little practices who can't compete let the poor go to the lesser hospitals where they may be seen by those altruistic doctors who believed they were in it to make a difference(mugs). Yep that is the course we in Britain are set on; a two tier system of health care where those who can pay will at last remain aloof from the scum and able to rule in comfort.



Of course you must also enable the masses to believe that they are being treated "fairly" so while many protest about the removal of EMA and Book start Along with increased university fees the carrot is produced that an "Education Premium" will be introduced to allow better education for those poorest in society...I.E. those receiving free school meals...



Free school meals are offered to children of families who are in receipt of Income Support, Income based Job Seekers Allowance or Employment Support Allowance (Income Related) (ESA(IR)), support under part V1 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999, Guarantee Element of State Pension Credit or Child Tax Credits.



Estimations for 2003 have suggested that there were 98,929 asylum-seeker and children eligible for free school meals yet the government say this education grant will allow UP TO 18,000 children to go on to university education free of charge for the first two years. As most uni courses are 3 years one has to ask what is the fucking pint? well the point is it looks good and reads well to Lib Dem supporters and conservatives alike. Lid Dems see it as a break through so they can claim they are making a difference within government Conservatives love it as the report says UP TO which is no guarantee that any shall actually make it to their hallowed halls so eliminating contamination.



Getting a job in these unsettled times is just as frantic as reports suggest 180 applicants for each position should it pay a few pence more than minimum wages in my experience though it is not even worth applying for these jobs unless you are either overqualified or more importantly you know someone within the company who will recommend you for the position in fact it is not unlike today's government who all got their positions because of who they know rather than what they know but none of them could be classed as over qualified as not one of the pricks has a clue what life is about in the real world. It has been reported in the press just over the last few days that LIB DEM mps are unhappy with the coalitions drive to eliminate the very spirit which made Britain great, many complain that Gideon does not have a fucking clue what it is like to live in the real world. Indeed how could he. He was educated at Oxford, before becoming a Conservative researcher, and then an MP. In between he had a job working briefly for Selfridge(hardly the co-op) and as a recorder of deaths within the NHS(inputting data onto a computer) His parents are baronets (as he will be after daddy dies) while his personal fortune is such that he has never had to once worry about paying his bills,sorry accounts in the Bullingdon Club or indeed any institution.

As each day passes with slow certainty we the Jo bloggs public are slowly being dragged downwards towards subservience to this pile of lying fraudulent bastards while in Europe those "elected" are making their own plans just as in war of the worlds for total domination of the British peoples. My own theory is that those in government today are in hope of a seat on the board of directors of the European federalist state which is inexorably drawing nearer with the adoption of every single diktat sent in dispatches from Brussels. Already it has been reported that Nick lying bastard turncoat Clegg is being lined up for the British European overseers job which brings with it a salary and expenses package of over £350,000 per annum or ten nurses plus change.



Gideon s contribution for a seat in the new federalists is the £7billion offered to Eire and his compliance with every financial requirement desired by those in power. Of course "Dave" is trying to be the good guy by claiming rebates and cutbacks from the EU which are all a load of bullshit smoke and mirrors, his contribution for a seat on the board is the decimation of our own Armed forces in favour of a European strike force where we supply the basic hard ware in the form of Aircraft carriers and nuclear subs for free. and of course his ability to put his foot in it in just about every country he visits America included so making it more unlikely(so they the government will claim) that we would be unable to deal with any countries other than those inside the EU. Indeed this condemnation coalition is now declaring war on the Iclandic fishing industry over the amount of fish they catch, despite EU regulations resulting in our own fishing industry(what little is left) being forced to throw back more than they land to keep the price artificially high to aid those in the eastern part of the Union.



OK that's enough bullshit for this year I hope you and yours have as comfortable Christmas as you can and look forward to perhaps having you read my rants in the new year. Who knows we the people may get off our arses and demand the "change" that all these lying bastards kept promising during the campaign to reach the trough and we may reach a goal of getting a referendum on something that actually matters.....

As entertainment shows go the search for new talent in whatever field of life is big business. It may be a cookery based product such as master-chef, entrepreneurial talent as in the apprentice or any number of differing dance styles be it amateur of professional. 

The biggest section of course is reserved for those who can "sing" hence the raft of pop based programmes like pop idol/American pop idol and of course the greatest show on earth(well Ealing at the moment) is the X factor, designed(so they claim) to search out and promote the best new singing and entertainment talent hiding behind hairbrushes in Britain's bathrooms.

Through the summer a barrage of applications are received and vetted(not very well) to weed out those with severe mental problems; no doubt to ensure they appear along side Mr and Mrs mediocre to make them look great. Stadiums and hotels around the country look forwards to the amazing talent search as it brings huge amounts of money to their local community as fans and contestants swell the population for the duration of the trials. Oil companies applaud the shows input to the world economy due to the amount of trucks and trailers needed to put on the show and no doubt Simon Cowell is bombarded by bank managers Nationwide in the hope that they may provide perhaps a minute amount of capital to finance his yearly extravaganza in the hope that some of the magic will rub off.

As for the "talent" this initially is the one thing which cannot be controlled until the cutting room, it used to be that they(the producers) could use vocal enhancement techniques to either promote or demote potential contestants but after an out-cry by the media they were denied that choice; they still however get to choose out of the many thousands of hopeful wannabes, who they would like to go forward to the next round. Increasingly over the years those with the saddest story have been chosen along with a few reasonable singers which has led the viewers down the garden path in my opinion as surveys and opinion polls along with focus groups may have been used to gauge the likeability of each contestant before going on to the next stage which is the judges house.

At the Judges house all who enter may or may not go forward to the live finals depending on how well they perform/act/crawl to the judge; My own opinion again is that those to go forward are chosen long before any of this gets to the screen, how else could two acts who failed to perform one song to its conclusion be judged to be better than others? as was the case with Cheryl(simon is my hero and I will do "anything" for him) Cole's group of under-performing girls.

So on to the live shows where things get a bit tricky for Simon and co. Once the finals start the viewers are given a chance to donate to the ever increasing bank balance of syco productions by voting over the phone or by text for their favourite performer, the lowest ranked by the public are then given one last chance before the judges who then decide who stays and who goes. This is of course another time that the producers are in control because there has never to my knowledge been published actual voting figures for the voting public to see, we are expected to believe that a middle aged pot bellied Brazilian cabaret act who has no sense of timing or tune is preferred by the British Public over two reasonably good singers, or for that matter the young boy whose name I forget, likewise the song he ruined gets preference. 

The results are in the votes have been counted and the winner of this years X factor is once again Simon Cowell As for this years actual winner... Cher has been favoured along side Katie Waissel  so expect at some time they will be against each other so the judges will have a heart rending moment before sending Katie home while one female who can actually sing(Rebecca) will no doubt be dumped before the singing Brazilian or Aiden (good for the teeny audience) Grimshaw.

As for the over aged..... once more Luis is punished but he gets paid plenty to be a whipping boy as it takes the heat off the fact that the others are crap...

Well that is my opinion but then I am just an ordinary bloke who was brought up with singers who could sing and girls who could promote a song while still keeping their clothes on.....

Last night the leaders of the parties who want to control our lives had a televised debate.

Did you miss it? I hope not because if it did one thing it was to prove to the world that politics in britain can be more than just a two horse race.

All three leaders had their chance to speak and react to Questions (staged by the media some may say) as well as confront each other on their reactions.

As a contest it was typical of the blues (tory) and reds (labour) to go after each other claiming each had a better view of the world than the other.

The same as they have done for the past 100 odd years 65 of which they have had control of our lives, the third member (lib dem) was intent an more than content with pointing out the similarity between the two major parties and how the same thing happens time after time after time when they change rolls in the houses of parliament.

Those same things are what has in my opinion kept Britain down over the last fifty years with each successive change of government leading to whichever party in control trying to dismantle anything the others had done previously without actually doing anything which would benefit US the people of this country.

Last nights debate was interesting also on the fate of a nuclear deterrent which the U.K has at the moment.The major two both adamant that £100billion was a good investment for our safety.The third option taken by the Lib ems is to scrap the renewal and go for a cheaper option. But perhaps the most interesting thing was how the Conservatives reckoned that China was one of our biggest threats in the future with their nuclear weapons.

Call me naive or stupid if you will but i feel we are more in danger with the proliferation of nuclear weapons being the source of terrorists being able to gain access to them rather than a country like china having them.In my mind a nuclear deterrent is just that a deterrent, no sane leader of any country would risk detonating a nuclear bomb because the reactions are so unpredictable as to what where when there would be retaliation never mind the environmental damage caused to any surrounding countries.

So the biggest threat comes from the terrorist organisations who hold life so cheaply that they would gladly sit on a bomb and detonate it with a hammer to kill the infidels.

Agreeing with Nick again.

As the dust starts to settle on the first historic public squabble between three party leaders the results make for interesting reading but the reactions are even better.

Gorden brown is philosophical claiming that he is a man of substance rather than style and that he did far better than his followers had expected him to this expectation must have been really low for him to be happy with coming in third when one considers that there were only three in the debate and his actual position was fourth.

Nick Clegg although of course highly pleased with the results has the intelligence to realise it is but a small victory in a very long battle and that he will be the target of both main parties in the weeks to come for his audacious actions of actually persuading the British public that he is a nice bloke.

The third guy of course is Dave and what could have gone wrong?

The expectations for him were absurd in the first place to any other than the closest sycophants most media pundits should naturally be included in the grovel groove as they all fell for the glib sound-bite wannabe and expected him to wipe the floor with his fluent grace and style, unfortunately the longer things went on the more facile and immature he appeared to be with his anecdotal references to being as one with normal people.

His graceful acceptance shortly afterwards about how Nick Clegg had come across better to the public than he did would have had more impact if he had not opened his mouth wide enough to put his foot in it in the following days.

His respect within the voting public took a downturn when he started to preach about how a hung parliament without overall control for either of the big two would be bad for the country bad for politics and bad for the electorate.

I don't know about you but patronising twats who make assumptions on my behalf really piss me off, how dare this man try and tell me and thousands of others that we are wrong to want any one but him and his party running things? Just on that point for a moment whose great idea was it to front a complete election campaign around one supreme beings head; could it be that they realise that the others in his party come across even more smug and stuck up than he does?hard to imagine I know but his chancellor in waiting is actually entitled to sit in the lords should he wish to in future as his family are from titled stock.

Any way I digress this Dickhead Dave reckons that we the public should be told in plain simple terms that what we long for(equality) is not in our best interests and that what we appear to be about to vote for(rational politics) will land us in trouble.

I look forward to the next crop of polls during the coming week when the public have had chance to digest what this condescending ingrate is saying about them and to the reaction when he unwisely tries to target Nick in front of millions for Clegg is no lightweight when it comes to political cut and thrust and will be far better prepared for the backlash than the Tories were for the first sitting, plus of course while Dave tries to go for the throat of the terrier Nick the bulldog Gordon will be waiting to pounce on any mistake he makes because the truth is as Gordon kept saying I agree with Nick.

Like an alien from some distant land Gordon brown has appeared from the woodwork to face his audience,many things can be said of this person which are derogatory and shameful such as he was never elected to run the country or he was responsible for the financial mess we are in or even that he was responsible for the Iraq war.

But I would tend to disagree, Take the Iraq war for instance true he was a member of the cabinet who all voted for it likewise he was a member of parliament who voted unanimously on taking action based on the evidence provided at the time they all thought it was the right thing to do.

Personally I blame the French and dutch along with the Germans and swiss for the second Iraq war for it was they along with the Russians and Chinese who stopped the coalition during the first Iraq war from finishing the war insisting that troops should not cross the border between Iraq and Kuwait. Had they been allowed to do so there would have been no years of turmoil in between which led to the deaths of countless numbers of innocent Iraqi men women and children at the hands of the vile regime of Saddam Hussein.

As for him being an unelected prime minister he was not the first but thankfully with the coming elections about to change politics in this country for good he should be the last, his leadership came about because of the failing system that we the voters have endured and encouraged for the past 100 odd years, I say encouraged because no one has been powerful enough to call for radical reforms until the shit hit the fan during the expenses row and this was brought on mainly due to the credit crunch making journalists more aware of what was going on.

As for the credit crunch it most definitely was not all down to Gordon's fiscal policies as we all reveled in the surge created by the bankers greed to feed ourselves with great wealth and riches if we were able to take advantage and bugger the consequences.

The reason however that I say Gordon is not a moron in fact far from it is his awareness of what the country think of him and how he appears to most if not all of the population when he takes part in debates about things which he is passionate, his self effacing humour about his smiling picked out by many pundits after the great debate was a joy to watch when he was interviewed on television and his cool but persistent method of trying to let people know what he thinks are the fundamentally important things we should care in life about are quite sweet if not a little wide of the mark.

His belief that immigration is under control is one side of his personality which lets him down as every one in the country has a perception that all and every application for entry into this small island is granted with a nod and a back hander, regardless if this is true or not there is a perception within the general community that that is what is happening and it needs to be either discussed at length or pushed onto the back burner by all concerned before it comes back to haunt him. As for the rest of his policies I am yet to make up my mind about who I shall vote for and therefore am gong to read every manifesto and listen to every debate so that even when I have made my decision if it turns out to be the wrong one at least I will have tired to make a difference.

Who knows I might even make the same choice as you.

Introduction

Above is the list of sins which are alleged to be deadly unfortunately the tossers in government are still with us and it leads me to ask the question why.
The main reason these arseholes take advantage of us the working or not much working class is down to the apathetic way in which we view our world.
After years of mistreatment and excess legislation the European's with whom we fought many times since our inception as a nation have eroded our ability to govern ourselves.
Remember that we strove valiantly as a nation to ward off attack after attack from the French, Germans, Russians and Italians not to mention the countless hoards of rebels early on (O.K. so we weren't so successful then) and now they have, thanks to this week willed left wing authoritarian (yes I know its an oxymoron) government the right to impose their will upon us at any time they wish.
It started with the Human rights act allowing criminals and politicians to hide behind the law and in most cases by using the law getting off Scott free with the added bonus of us paying them for their headaches.
Not just enough for a few aspirin either, Oh no they have enough to set themselves up with a villa in Spain where they can draw down on the benefit system and have their disability payments paid in fucking euros.
As for the twats that let them get away with it we haven't got the time for them as we are too busy trying to earn a crust so that we can pay extortionate rates for fuel for our cars and heating most of which goes to johnny foreigner any way and what doesn't goes into the treasury to pay more fucking expenses for duck houses.
Anyway I digress (as usual) the apathy of which I speak is the reason they can get away with it.
It annoys me when pundits and idiots(same thing usually) go on about how bad things are and how much worse they are going to get while they never get off their arses to vote.
They will laugh and say don't blame me for what the government is doing because I didn't vote well here is a wake up call you twats if you had voted then perhaps things may have been different the fact that this government was elected with 48% of the votes cast is bad enough but when you realise that only 56% of those eligible to vote did so that figure becomes absurd.I strongly believe that we as voters should be bribed to vote  the cost would be minimal compared to the amount of expenses the tossers claim.
A token gesture of £5.00 would do it as everyone turning up to vote could be given a fiver at the polling booth scrap the postal system which is open to abuse and get people out to vote on a Sunday, if needs be then close all the fucking shops for a day to concentrate everyone on the election at the same time that every voter gets a fiver then perhaps anyone who does not cast their vote could be charged a fiver, those on the dole would be easily fined if you like while those working could have the money deducted from their wages.
It wouldn't matter if you turn up and spoil the paper as long as you did something.
While on the subject by the way did you see how our great leader is trying to jump on the bandwagon for Alternative Voting. for all you simpletons it means you get a choice to put 1,2,3 in order on the ballot paper and the candidate with over50% of the votes be they first or second choices gets the job.
